Hey my names Daniel Woolhouse Known as "Fanga Dan"

How i started off my life with cars.

I grew up in Hastings, New Zealand with my parents.
My Dad owned his own car yard. So from a young age i spent alot of time there. You would find me washing the cars and putting price stickers on them. Right from a young age i started to have a strong passion for rear wheel drive cars my dad had in his yard Cefiros, Skylines, Supras and RX7's. Even the cars dad owned i was always trying to talk him into doing skids.

When i was 10 i moved to Whangarei with my mum, where you would find me on my BMX bike everyday.

Hitting the teenage years i went through heaps of cars doing them up and selling them to make some extra coin. starting off with mini's moving onto, Mazda Familiar's, Gtx's, Mitisi VR4, Evo 0, Gsr's, V- tec Hondas, Suburus the list could go on...

A few of the boys started following the drifting in Japan watching dvds and clips on the internet. 8 of us decided to start building rear wheel drive drift cars. We then starting to take our drift cars to the track.
we were a team called "DRIFTCORP" we where the top and only drift team in NZ.

My First drift car was a RB26 powered laurel, I Then went on and built my Nissan S15 Silvia.

Staying committed and spending every dollar i had on my car making it better. The sport just kept growing bigger and bigger.

I was given a nick name "Fanga" that related to how i drove This stuck with me.

D1NZ started a drifting series in 2003 which i competed in and still do now.

Having the drive to get to the top i was determined to get my driving and car perfect, sticking to it opened up doors for me with sponsors.

With all the late night's working on my cars, towing my car around the NZ Tracks to each event. With having an aggressive driving style i was crowned the Drift King Championship in 2006.

2008 - I Finished building my Holden Commodore, which I dropped a RB26 into it.

2009- I finished my new Nissan S15, which is the old S15 but a new shell with a few more mods and a engine rebuild.

Now you can find me at the NZ tracks in my Nissan S15 and also catch me in Asia Driving for Goodyear in my Holden VZ Commodore.
Competing in the Formula Drift Series in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand.
Also at the Goodyear international Drift series Asia.

2nd place over all on 914 points

2008 NZ Drift Series:
4th Place Over All On 534 Points
Round 2,finished 3rd

Round 4,finished 10th
Battle Results – Wins = 6

2009 NZ Drift series
Final Round finished 1st place.
Over all finshed 4th for the year with 561 points.
