FDC Motorsport have built and competed a number of drift chassis since 2005, internationally known for pushing boundaries with an RB26 Nissan Skyline powered VZ Holden Commodore.

 

Fanga won his first national title driving an SR20DET powered Nissan S15 Silvia, taking 5/5 podiums including 2 round wins in the 2006 D1NZ season.

 

After representing New Zealand in Formula Drift Asia in 2010, the VZ Chassis returned home and began a V8Supercar inspired rebuild, with a race prepared 6 Litre LS2 V8 built by Checkered Flag Automotive in Whangarei.

 

Fanga Dan was the first driver to win 2 seperate D1NZ Championships in 2 seperate cars, and in 2013 became the first driver to win the series with a V8.
